Asparagus And Ham Roll-Ups - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. asparagus spears, cooked
    8 thin slices boiled ham
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Place 3 to 4 asparagus spears on each ham slice.
    Roll up like jelly roll and secure with toothpick.
    Melt butter in heavy skillet.
    Stir in flour and seasonings.
    Cook and stir until thick and pasty.
    Add milk and stir until thickened.
    Add cheese and heat until cheese melts.
    Place rolls in heatproof baking dish. Pour cheese sauce over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes or microwave 80% power for 7 minutes.
    Serves 4.
