Chicken And Sherry Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large (4 lb.) fryer, cut up
paprika
flour
1/4 tsp. marjoram
2/3 c. sherry
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 (4 oz.) can mushroom pieces or 6 to 8 sliced fresh mushrooms
Preparation

Mix flour, paprika and marjoram and roll chicken pieces in same.
Brown chicken on both sides in butter or oil.
Dilute mushroom soup with sherry.
Add mushroom pieces.
Place browned chicken in covered casserole; pour soup and sherry mixture over same.
Cover and bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
Good served over rice or noodles or with biscuits.
May be assembled to baking point and refrigerated overnight.
Bring to room temperature, then bake for 1 hour.
