Wild Rice Stuffed Turkey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (6 oz.) pkg. long grain and wild rice mix
    1/2 lb. Canadian bacon, diced
    1/2 c. sliced green onion
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
    1 (14 to 16 lb.) turkey
    cooking oil or melted butter
Preparation
    For stuffing, prepare rice mix according to package directions.
    In a 12-inch skillet cook and stir bacon, onion and garlic in hot margarine or butter, about 5 minutes or until tender.
    Stir in 1/4 cup water and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
