Lettuce Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head lettuce, broken in large bowl
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped celery
6 hard-cooked eggs
1 can water chestnuts, sliced
1 lb. bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
1/2 to 3/4 c. Parmesan cheese
1 pt. Hellmann's mayonnaise
Preparation

Put in large bowl and layer lettuce, onion, celery, eggs, water chestnuts and bacon.
Cover and seal with mayonnaise. Sprinkle Parmesan over top.
Put Saran Wrap over all and refrigerate overnight.
Stir well.
