Cabbage Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. cabbage, shredded
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 stem celery, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 3/4 c. vinegar
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation

Sprinkle cabbage with salt; let stand 1 hour.
Add celery and pepper; let stand 20 minutes more.
Combine sugar, water, vinegar, celery and mustard seed.
Bring to boil.
Pour over cabbage mixture.
Cool and put in freezer containers.
