Cherry Chew Gum - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1/2 c. pecans, chopped
    1 c. self-rising flour
    8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
    1 c. confectioners sugar
    1 pkg. Cool Whip
    cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Cream margarine, pecans and flour and press into 9 x 13-inch dish.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 until brown.
    Set aside to cool.
    Soften cream cheese and confectioners sugar.
    Mix well and set aside.
    Mix Cool Whip into cream cheese.
    Spread over cool crumbs.
    Top with Cool Whip.
    Then spread with cherry pie filling.
    Chill and serve.
