Fried Green Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 green tomatoes
    3/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. paprika
    fresh thyme (optional)
    Parmesan cheese (optional)
Preparation
    Pour 1/4 to 1/2-inch vegetable oil in frypan.
    Slice tomatoes about 1/4-inch thick.
    Dip slices in flour mixture, then place in hot oil.
    Fry for 5 to 8 minutes or until lightly browned. Garnish with fresh thyme, if desired or sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
