Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cooked rice (1 c. uncooked)
    2 onions, chopped fine
    2 carrots, grated
    3 stalks celery, chopped fine
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    salt and pepper
    1 soup can milk
    grated cheese
Preparation
    Place a layer of finely shredded cabbage in a casserole and season with salt, pepper and butter.
    Cover
    with
    a layer of cracker crumbs.
    Continue until casserole
    is full.
    Finish with a layer of crumbs. Cover with milk which
    has
    been
    preheated. Bake 1 1/2 hours in a slow oven.
