Grandmomma'S Chess Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. plain cornmeal
    3 whole eggs
    1 pie crust
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Melt butter, sugar and vinegar over low heat.
    Allow to boil for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring continuously. Remove from stove and let cool.
    In a separate bowl beat eggs well. Add to above mixture.
    Beat in meal and vanilla.
    Place in uncooked pie crust.
    Bake for 40 to 50 minutes.
