California Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. margarine
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 large green pepper, chopped
    2 tsp. oregano
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 (5 1/2 oz.) pkg. tortilla chips
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. Monterey Jack cheese, cubed
    2 c. cooked, cubed turkey
    1 c. sour cream
    1/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Melt margarine in a large skillet.
    Add onion, green pepper, oregano and salt. Saute until onion is transparent.
    Add tomatoes and simmer 5 minutes.
    Layer 1/2 of the chips, 1/2 Jack cheese and 1/2 turkey in 2 1/2-quart casserole; spoon on half the sauce. Repeat layers, ending with sauce. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes. Spoon sour cream over top. Sprinkle with shredded cheese. Continue baking 5 to 8 minutes or until cheese melts.
    Makes 6 servings.
