Hearty Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. boneless short ribs
3 to 5 chicken wings
1 (16 oz.) pkg. mixed vegetables
1 beef chuck soup bone
1 to 2 c. shredded cabbage
2 carrots, diced
1 to 2 large potatoes, diced
1 bay leaf
1 c. chopped onion
2 to 3 stalks celery
2 c. V-8 juice
1 can diced tomatoes
2 tsp. garlic powder
1 to 2 tsp. seasoned pepper
1 tsp. salt (optional)
Preparation

Boil ribs, chicken wings and soup bone in enough water to cover meat (approximately 20 to 25 minutes). Add all the other ingredients except the potatoes and simmer 2 to 3 hours or put in crock-pot on low for several hours. Add the potatoes several minutes before serving and keep simmering until potatoes are done.
