Fruit Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 stick oleo
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. plain flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. milk
    1 can Comstock apple or blueberry pie filling or fresh sliced peaches
Preparation
    In 7 x 11-inch baking dish, melt 3/4 stick oleo.
    Mix sugar, flour, salt, baking powder and milk in mixing bowl (makes a thin batter).
    Pour batter over melted butter.
    Add fruit (do not stir into batter) over the top evenly.
