Chunky Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can pineapple chunks, drained (reserve liquid)
    1 can chunky fruit (not fruit cocktail, reserve liquid)
    1 small can mandarin oranges
    1 jar maraschino cherries
    2 sliced bananas
    1 large instant vanilla pudding
Preparation
    Drain all fruit and put in bowl.
    Mix the pudding with reserved juices.
    Stir over medium heat until clear and slightly thickened.
    Pour over fruit and mix.
