A Prize Cookie, Mincemeat Cookie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 c. unsifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (9 oz.) pkg. None Such mincemeat, crumbled

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
In a large bowl, cream shortening and sugar until fluffy.
Add eggs and beat well.
Combine dry ingredients.
Add gradually to creamed mixture.
Stir in mincemeat.
Drop by rounded teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet, 2-inches apart.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
Cool and frost if you like.
Makes about 6 1/2 dozen.
