Sauerkraut - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 gal. water
1 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1/2 c. salt
8 or 9 large heads cabbage
10 to 14 qt. jars
Preparation
-
Mix all ingredients together in saucepan over high heat; cook until it starts to boil, then pour over ground cabbage already in jars, then seal.
