Gelatin Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 envelope Knox gelatine
1/4 c. cold water
1 small can crushed pineapple
juice from pineapple and enough water to make 1 c.
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Dissolve gelatine in water.
Heat together pineapple juice, lemon juice and sugar until sugar is dissolved.
Pour over gelatine and let stand until partially set.
Add Cheddar cheese and pineapple.
Chill until set.
Just before serving, cube gelatine with spoon and fold in one cup Cool Whip or whipped cream.
Serves 6.
