Pork And Apple Casserole - cooking recipe

6 pork chops (3/4 inch thick)
3 tart apples
3 Tbsp. molasses
3 Tbsp. flour
2 c. boiling water
1 Tbsp. cider vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. raisins
Preparation

Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper to taste.
Brown chops on both sides in a skillet.
Place chops in a large shallow casserole.
Save fat drippings in the skillet.
Peel and cut apples into 1/4 inch slices; arrange on the chops.
Pour molasses over all.
Stir flour into fat in the skillet.
Cook and stir until brown.
Slowly stir in hot water and cook until mixture boils.
