Buffet Party Seafood - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine
2 onions, peeled and diced
2 green peppers, diced
1 (6 oz.) can mushrooms
2/3 c. flour
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 c. shredded sharp cheese
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
16 oz. crab meat
16 oz. shrimp, cooked
16 oz. lobster or bay scallops
4 or 5 Tbsp. parsley
Preparation

Melt butter in large pot over moderate heat.
Stir in onions, green peppers and mushrooms.
Cook about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat.
Blend in flour, salt and pepper smoothly.
Stir in milk gradually.
Return pan to heat.
Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Stir in cheese and mix. Add lemon juice, mustard and Worcestershire sauce.
Cook until cheese melts.
Break seafood into bite size pieces and add to mixture.
Mix and let mixture heat to a boil.
Serve over pastry shells or macaroni.
Add parsley as a garnish.
Serves 10 to 12.
