Yellow Spring Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow cake mix
    20 oz. can crushed pineapple
    1 c. sugar
    1 small instant vanilla pudding
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Mix and bake yellow cake mix as directed on box. Simmer 20 ounce can of crushed pineapple with 1/2 to all of its juice and 1 cup sugar until it thickens slightly. When cake is done, punch holes in top and pour hot pineapple mixture over cake. Refrigerate until chilled. Mix 1 small box instant vanilla pudding and pour over top; chill. Cover with Cool Whip and chopped nuts. Keep refrigerated.
