Vernell'S Beans And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can red beans
    2 cloves garlic
    1/4 c. oil
    1 Tbsp. parsley
    1 tsp. crushed red pepper
    1 pkg. onion soup
    2 1/2 c. rice (Uncle Ben's)
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    3 1/2 c. water or broth
Preparation
    Saute
    red
    beans,
    garlic,
    chopped onions, parsley and pepper in
    oil
    for 15 minutes.
    Add 3 1/2 cups water or broth. Bring to
    boil.
    Add
    2 1/2 cups of rice, cook until all liquid is absorbed or until rice is tender.
    Serve with gravy or roux.
