Date Nut Loaf Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs, beaten
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
1 tsp. salt
1 c. sifted flour
1 lb. pitted dates
4 c. pecan halves
Preparation

Combine eggs, sugar and oil and mix well.
Then add remaining ingredients.
Place in a greased floured loaf pan.
Bake in slow oven 2 hours at 300\u00b0.
Start cake in a cold oven.
Makes one (3-pound) loaf.
