Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can French-style green beans
    1 can corn
    1 small can green peas
    1 small jar red pimentos
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. oil
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper
Preparation
    Drain all vegetables well and mix together.
    Mix sugar, oil, vinegar, salt and pepper to taste.
    Bring to boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
    Let cool and then pour over vegetables.
    Chill for 24 hours and serve.
