The World'S Best Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter (Imperial margarine works well)
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. Wesson oil
    1 c. crushed cornflakes
    1 c. rolled oats
    1/2 c. shredded coconut
    1/2 c. nuts
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add egg, then oil, mixing well.
    Add oats, cornflakes, coconut and nuts.
    Add dry ingredients and vanilla.
    Drop onto ungreased cookie sheets.
    Flatten slightly with back of spoon.
    Bake 24 minutes or until light brown in a 325\u00b0 oven.
    Allow to cool on sheets before removing onto cooling racks.
