She-Crab Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. red pepper
    1 tsp. chopped parsley
    1/3 c. chopped scallions
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    2 c. milk
    4 c. crab meat
    1 1/2 pt. heavy cream
    3 to 4 oz. dry sherry (optional)
Preparation
    Melt butter; then add flour, salt, red pepper, parsley and nutmeg.
    Cook for 1 minute and then add milk.
    Stir and cook until thick.
    Add crab meat. May be held at this point.
    When ready to serve, stir in heated cream and sherry.
    Serves 4.
