Apple Pie - cooking recipe

1 recipe pie dough
8 medium size apples, sliced
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Peel, core and slice apples.
Combine the sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt; blend thoroughly.
Line a 9-inch pie pan with half the pie dough, rolled 1/8-inch thick.
Sprinkle about 1/4 the sugar mixture over the bottom.
Arrange sliced apples and remaining sugar mixture in the pan and lemon juice over the top. Dot with butter.
Adjust the top crust, cutting several vents to allow for the escape of steam.
Trim and seal edges.
Bake in a 450\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes.
Then reduce the heat to 350\u00b0 and continue to bake for 45 minutes longer or until the apples are tender.
