Cracker Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. milk, heated
    2 eggs, separated
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 c. broken crackers
    1 c. coconut
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add to heated milk.
    Cook over medium heat until thick, stirring constantly, and set aside.
    Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into crackers and cooked mixture with vanilla.
    Chill until serving.
    You may add a topping.
