Turmeric Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large head cabbage, grated or chopped fine
1 stalk celery, chopped
3 bell peppers
2 onions, chopped
1 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1 tsp. mustard seed
1/2 tsp. turmeric
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
-
Mix cabbage, celery, peppers and onions in large bowl.
Bring remaining ingredients to a hard boil.
Pour over cabbage mixture. Refrigerate.
Will keep a couple of months.
In fact, the longer you keep it, the crisper it gets.
