Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2/3 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
3 c. sweetened applesauce
4 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg

Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening.
Add applesauce.
Mix flour, soda, spices and salt together and sift into other mixture.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
