Ingredients

2 C. uncooked rolled oatmeal
1 3/4 C. flour
1 C. butter or margarine
1 C. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 C. chopped nuts
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 C. your favorite preserves (raspberry, peach, strawberry)
Preparation

Combine all ingredients except the preserves, in large mixing bowl; beat at low speed with electric mixer until mixture is crumbly.
Reserve 2 cups mixture, press remaining into bottom of greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
Spread preserves evenly over this base; sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture.
