Ma Ma'S Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    25 large tomatoes
    6 red peppers
    2 c. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. salt
    6 green peppers
    12 onions
    4 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. pickling spice
Preparation
    Grind tomatoes, peppers and onions finely.
    Add vinegar, sugar and salt.
    Stir well.
    Add spices tied in cheesecloth.
    Bring to boil, then simmer 3 to 4 hours.
    Stir often.
    Should cook down to 1/2 starting amount.
    Pack in sterilized jars.
