Oyster Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 pt. oysters with juice
    7 to 8 c. milk
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Melt margarine in saucepan. Add oysters and cook until edges curl. Remove oysters and broth to blender and process on medium for 2 to 3 seconds (until oysters are chopped).
    Return to pan and add milk and seasonings. Cook over medium-low heat until hot.
