Meaty Spanish Rice Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. crushed corn flakes
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. Minute rice
    1/4 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 c. shredded American cheese
    1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped green pepper
Preparation
    Combine corn flakes, milk, onion, salt and ground beef in a large bowl, mixing well.
    Press over bottom and side of a 9-inch pie plate.
    Combine tomato sauce, rice, green pepper and chili powder, mixing well.
    Spoon over ground beef.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Sprinkle with cheese and bake for 3 minutes longer or until cheese melts.
    Serves 6.
