Granny M'S Sweet Potato Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 to 1/2 c. sweet potatoes, cooked and peeled
    1 box powdered sugar
    1/2 stick margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    pinch of salt
    1/2 c. peanut butter
Preparation
    Mix sweet potatoes, sugar, margarine, vanilla and salt into a dough.
    Add a little extra sugar to stiffen, if needed.
    Roll out the dough to 1/4-inch thickness onto a floured surface.
    Spread peanut butter evenly over rolled out dough.
    Start at one end and roll like a jelly roll.
    Slice into 1/2-inch pieces.
    Let set until firm.
    Great for parties and receptions.
