Ingredients

2 c. sugar
6 Tbsp. flour
4 eggs
3 c. milk
4 Tbsp. margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

In a boiler, mix 1 1/2 cups of sugar and flour.
Put other 1/2 cup of sugar in small frying pan.
Mix egg yolks and milk and add to sugar and flour mixture.
Cook this mixture, stirring constantly, until thick.
Set aside and brown your 1/2 cup of sugar.
(Just brown; do not burn.) Add this brown sugar to first mixture with margarine and vanilla.
Stir good and pour into your crust.
Place meringue on top.
