Baked Chicken With Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 pieces chicken (breasts are best)
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. each: pepper, ground ginger, curry powder and cinnamon
    cooking spray (for coating pan)
    1/2 c. brandy
    4 apples, cored and sliced (not not peeled)
    1 large head cabbage
    butter or oil (for frying)
    1 onion, chopped fine
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 Tbsp. rice
    1/2 lb. ripe tomatoes or 2 Tbsp. tomato puree
    1/4 to 1/2 c. water or stock
    flour (for thickening)
    2 Tbsp. sour cream
Preparation
    Cook whole cabbage in boiling salted water for about 5 minutes until outer leaves are soft enough not to break when bent.
    Drain and separate leaves, removing any thick stalks.
    Saute onion in butter for about 5 minutes; add meat and seasonings and cook additional 10 to 15 minutes until meat is lightly browned.
