Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
3 eggs
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 box raisins
1 tsp. soda
1 c. coconut
1 c. nuts
Preparation

Blend
together sugar and shortening.
Add eggs, sifted flour and
salt.
Combine
stewed
raisins and soda scalded in 1/2 cup raisin juice.
Drop
by teaspoonfuls.
Bake at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
