Zenobia Bryant'S Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe

about 16 oz. pumpkin
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1 1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust (with high fluted edge)
Preparation

Preheat oven
to 450\u00b0.\tCook pumpkin.
Mix all ingredients in order
given.
Bake
15 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350\u00b0. Continue baking 45
minutes.
Whipped cream can be used to top off, if desired.
