Double Crispy Chicken - cooking recipe

7 c. corn flakes, crushed to 2 c.
1 egg
1 c. milk
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 lb. frying chicken, rinsed and dried
3 Tbsp. margarine or butter, melted
Preparation

Measure crushed corn flakes into shallow dish or pan; set aside.
In small mixing bowl, beat egg and milk slightly.
Add flour, salt and pepper.
Mix until smooth.
Dip chicken in batter. Coat with cereal.
Place in single layer, skinned side up in greased or foil lined shallow baking pan.
Drizzle with melted butter.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour (until tender).
Do not cover, turn chicken while baking.
