Garlic Mashed Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. baking potatoes
    1 c. whipping cream
    5 garlic cloves, minced
    1/4 tsp. dried thyme
    6 Tbsp. butter, divided
    1/4 c. freshly grated parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Boil potatoes.
    Peel, coarsely chop and set aside. Meanwhile, place cream, garlic, thyme and 4 tbsp. butter in a small pan and bring to a boil.
    Remove from heat and stir in cheese.
    Add mixture to potatoes.
    Mash.
    Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
    Place mixture in a large oven proof dish.
    Dot with remaining butter, cover and bake 20 to 30 minutes, until heated through.
    Makes 6 servings.
