Warm Slaw(Amish) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter
1 qt. shredded cabbage
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. water
5 Tbsp. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 Tbsp. flour
1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation

Melt butter in saucepan and add cabbage.
Stir thoroughly, then add salt and water.
Cover and cook 10 minutes.
In a bowl, mix sugar, egg, flour and milk.
Add to cabbage.
Cook another minute.
Add the vinegar and serve.
Makes 4 servings.
