German Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 4 oz pkg Bakers German Sweet Chocolate
    1 c butter
    4 egg yolks, unbeaten
    2 1/2 c cake or unbleached flour
    1 t baking soda
    4 egg whites, stiffly beaten
    1/2 c boiling water
    2 c sugar
    1 t vanilla
    1/2 t salt
    1 c buttermilk
Preparation
    Melt chocolate in water and cool.
    Cream together butter and sugar, add yolks one at a time, add chocolate and vanilla.
    Blend well.
    Sift together flour, salt and soda.
    Add to batter alternately with buttermilk, adding dry ingredients last.
    Beat well and fold in whites.
    Pour into three greased and floured cake pans, bake at 350 F for 35-40 minutes.
