Grandmother Dearman'S Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 whole eggs
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 stick margarine
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    unbaked pie shell
Preparation
    Cream sugar and margarine.
    Add rest of ingredients.
    Mix well and pour into pie shell.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    Put foil over edge of pie shell for first 15 minutes so crust will not burn.
