Frozen Cucumber Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. cucumbers (farm fresh), sliced very thin
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. salt
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. white vinegar
Preparation
    Sprinkle salt over cucumbers and onion and toss.
    Let stand 2 hours.
    Drain all liquid off.
    Put into freezer containers.
    Mix sugar and vinegar and heat until dissolved.
    Cool and pour over cucumbers.
    Freeze.
    Makes 4 pints.
