Kahlua - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. water
    2-inch vanilla beans, cut in small pieces
    3 3/4 c. white Karo syrup
    4 1/2 Tbsp. instant coffee
    1/4 c. boiling water
    3 1/2 c. vodka
    2 tsp. glycerin
Preparation
    Boil 1 pint of water, vanilla beans and Karo syrup, slowly, for 30 minutes.
    Cool slightly.
    Mix instant coffee and boiling water; add to vanilla bean mixture.
    Strain into a 1/2 gallon container.
    Add vodka and glycerin.
    Shake well and let stand. Ready in one month.
    Even better in 2 to 3 months.
