English Pea Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. English peas, drained
    1 1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 jar pimento
    1 onion, grated
    1 can French green beans, drained
    1/2 c. water chestnuts
    1/2 c. white vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. oil
    1 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Mix peas, celery, pepper, pimento, onion, green beans and water chestnuts.
    Mix white vinegar, water, salt, oil and sugar; bring to a boil.
    Cool.
    Pour over vegetables.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Drain before serving.
    Keeps 2 weeks in refrigerator.
