Taco Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 deep dish pie crust
1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 pkg. taco seasoning
1 (16 oz.) can refried beans
1 (8 oz.) jar taco sauce
2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar
12 tortilla chips, crushed
Preparation

Prick
bottoms
and sides of crust.
Bake 10 minutes at 400\u00b0. Reduce oven temperature to 350\u00b0.
In skillet, cook meat and
onion until
browned.
Drain
fat and add taco seasoning according
to directions.
In small mixing bowl, combine beans and 1/3 cup taco sauce.
Layer 1/2 bean mix in pie shell.
Top with
1/2
seasoned meat, 1 cup cheese and taco chips.
Repeat layers, excluding chips.
Bake on preheated cookie sheet 20 to 25
minutes.
Remove from oven.
Top with lettuce, tomato and additional taco sauce to taste.
