Beef Stew(Microwave) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew beef, cut in 1-inch pieces
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (1 1/2 oz.) pkg. brown gravy with mushrooms
    3 stalks celery, cut in 1-inch pieces
    3 medium carrots, sliced
    3 medium potatoes, peeled and cut in eighths
Preparation
    Put beef cubes in 3-quart microwave baking dish.
    Sprinkle with salt.
    Combine gravy mix and 1 cup water; stir.
    Pour over meat.
    Cover and cook on High 5 minutes; stir.
    Cover and cook on Bake (60) for 20 minutes.
    Add celery, carrots and potatoes.
    Stir lightly so that vegetables are covered with gravy.
    Add more water for a thinner gravy.
    Cover and cook on Simmer for 25 to 30 minutes or until meat and vegetables are tender.
    Remove and let stand 5 minutes before serving.
