Lemon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. fresh squeezed lemon juice
1/4 c. cornstarch
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. water
1/4 tsp. salt
3 eggs, separated
2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. sugar
vanilla
Preparation

Mix cornstarch, 1/2 cup sugar, water and salt.
Cook until thickened, stir constantly.
Beat egg yolks and 1/2 cup sugar. Blend some of hot mixture into egg.
Stir into hot starch mix. Boil a few minutes.
Add lemon juice and butter.
Stir a while longer.
Set aside to cool.
