Applesauce Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine, softened
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    3 tsp. vanilla
    4 c. flour, sifted
    1 tsp. allspice
    5 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 (1 lb.) can applesauce
    1 c. raisins
    1/2 c. nuts (your choice)
Preparation
    Cream margarine, sugar, eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
    Sift together flour and spices.
    Add to creamed mixture.
    Mix 2 teaspoons vanilla into can of applesauce.
    Add baking soda and stir with a wooden spoon.
    Add to batter.
    Stir until well mixed. Add raisins and nuts.
    Stir well as batter is very thick and stiff.
