Ingredients

3/4 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
2 c. milk
2 eggs
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Take sugar and butter in heavy skillet and brown.
Add milk until it melts.
Mix eggs and cornstarch with a little milk.
Add vanilla.
Cook until thickened.
Let cool, pour into baked pie shell.
Cover with meringue.
